Off-Trade Senior Sales Manager
World Famous Wine Company
Our client is China’s largest importer/ distributor of quality wines, with offices in Beijing, Shanghai, and other cities, representing over hundreds wines and winemakers over the world.
As a list company, more than 50 wineries represented by our client in China are the best-known wine brands and producers from the most important wine growing regions in the world.
Now with further business expansion in China, our client is looking for a qualified Off-Trade Senior Sales Manager.
Job purpose
Lead sales team to develop, execute and co-ordinate all long, medium and short term sales strategies and programs with the purpose of ensuring business growth via achieve the sales target.
Responsibilities
Sales
- Build a good relationship with the key accounts in order to increase our position in their outlets;
- Sales targets to be set at the begin of the month by working with the team;
- Track down the sales results for monthly, events & promotions and analyze the reasons. Track down the weekly sales vs. target situation;
- Work with the sales persons on new products, new policy and new prices;
- Develop a good network by getting as much information as possible to keep looking for new customers.
Marketing
- Work and communicate with Brand Ambassadors to have more support from marketing;
- Work with the marketing team, Sales Director and Sales Managers to do the yearly/monthly promotion proposals, special events such as Wine Fair;
- Work with the sales persons to organize the promotions (wine tasting, wine fair, wine of the month…);
- Be aware of competitors’ actions and products in order to act faster and proactive by working with marketing team.
Team
- Train the sales persons regularly on selling skill;
- Work with sales persons for contract proposals, calculation of prices with deal sheets, reports to Sales Director;
- Overlook the A/R collection with sales persons;
- Develop, motivate and lead a team in order to achieve company objectives;
- Conduct on-job training with team member when necessary;
- Responsible for staff management and development;
- Monitor and analyze staff morale find problems in the first time and assist Sales Director/ VP and HR to solve problem.
Requirements
- At least 8 years sales related working experiences with good presentation skill;
- Self-motivated, initial and aggressive characteristic that willing to meet the challenges;
- Strong ability to lead the team;
- Team player with good communication ability to the subordinates and the marketing team;
- Strong negotiation ability with the customers;
- Willing to work during the spare time;
- Have some wine knowledge;
- Good English;
- Good in Microsoft word, excel, outlook & power point, etc.
